The A-1 was a 35mm with a unique styling, 'up market' design and original concept SLR made by Canon in Japan. The popularity of today's high-tech circuitry in cameras has much to owe to the A-1. Thanks to its amazing features, this camera —introduced in 1978— has remained the ultimate reference camera for many for over a quarter of a century. Durability and reliablility have been proven over the years and passed the enduring time test. A true classic emerged.
The camera with 50mm f/1.4, lens cap, and a fresh battery.
Cosmetic: Good condition, with little signs of use.
Optical: Viewfinder clean. Overall lens is pretty clean, there are a few spots of fungus inside the lens that should not affect the photos.
Mechanical: All shutter speeds are accurate and all mechanical functions are working perfectly, there is no "shutter squeel" common with these cameras.
