Camera Repairs
Unfortunately, we don’t repair cameras. But if something is acting weird, we’re always happy to have a quick look and tell you if it’s something simple or if your beloved is ready for professional help.
And if we can’t fix it, don’t panic. Here are some repair places we trust (or have heard enough good things about to put them on this list).
Berlin

Based just outside Berlin in Kleinmachnow / Zehlendorf area. They work mainly on Nikon, Canon and other SLRs. You can send your camera in or visit by appointment.
Camera check: €35
Repair time: roughly 3–4 weeks
Kamera Service Ostkreuz
Rathenaustraße 38, 12459 Berlin
A good place for older cameras, especially SLRs, rangefinders and East German cameras. They know their way around the old stuff.
They can take a while 3–6 months is not unusual but the initial check is free.
Opening hours online aren't always perfectly up to date, so call or email before making the trip.
Germany
Foto Kamera Service Hoffmann
Viehwasen 18A, 70327 Stuttgart-Wangen
Based near Stuttgart, with a very German website containing approximately 900 years' worth of information about camera repairs.
They work mainly on SLRs and rangefinders and seem to be fairly quick with checking and repairs.
Outside Germany
FOTOTECH — Warsaw & Krakow
A specialist repair service in Poland, particularly interesting if you have a point-and-shoot or higher-end compact that has decided to stop cooperating with humanity.
They’re known for working on cameras that many other repair shops won't touch.
Expect a long wait — around 4–6 months — and prices can be on the higher side.
Definitely contact them before sending your camera.
Amsterdam Camera Repairs
Ferdinand Bolstraat, 1072 LL Amsterdam, Netherlands
Professional, fair and particularly interesting for rangefinders, Leica and other older cameras.
The downside: repairs can take a while.
Roughly 3–6 months, depending on the camera and what's wrong with it.

And please don't post your camera to a random person on the internet because they have a nice Instagram feed and said “I can probably fix that.”

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. In that email will be a link to track your order.
Sometimes the tracking page will take a few hours to update. Sometimes you get a better up-to-date status by copying the tracking number and pasting it in the DHL or FedEx website.
We test and check all of our cameras before listing them. If there are any faults or issues they are in the listing. We have an official 6 month warranty.
Please check over and test your cameras the moment you get it., incase you see any faults or have second thoughts on your purchase.

Yes we do. In case you are unhappy with anything, or just changed your mind. You have 14 days to send your items back. Please make sure they are unopened in the original condition they arrived to you in.

A is the best and C the least.
We test cameras and make sure they are working before putting them on the website. If there are any faults with the camera, it will be listed.
The rating scale is just for the cosmetic condition.
