Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we cannot supply the goods due to reasons beyond our control. If we cannot supply the goods due to stock being unavailable, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Description of Goods
Safelight Berlin has made every effort to assure the accuracy of all information on the website. All images, descriptive matter and specifications advertised on our site are for the sole purpose of giving the most accurate approximate description of the goods. We reserve the right to correct any errors, whether in pricing, description, specification etc. All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
Liability
Safelight Berlin is not liable to give any compensation apart from refunding you the amount you paid for any goods being returned. We shall also not be liable in any way for acts, failures, omissions or delays resulting in issues such as (but not limited to) loss of sales, business, profits, reputation, business interruption or any other losses.
Be aware, once the item has been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for any service delays from the courier that is used. We always post items with delivery confirmation. Requests for shipping without tracking or insurance will be politely declined.
IMPORTANT: Please bear in mind that we are not responsible for any loss or damage during shipping and/or processing.
With regards to storage of negatives: they will be kept in our facilities for a maximum of two months after which they will be disposed of without further warning (email, SMS...). Please pick up your negatives on time.

14 Day Return For Any Reason
German Law For In Shop and Online
The cancellation is possible within a period of 14 days. There are different points in time for the start of the 14-day period depending on the subject matter of the contract:

In the case of a purchase contract, the period begins on the day following the day on which the goods are delivered in full.
If you receive the shoes you ordered online on October 1st, your cancellation period begins on the day after. You can then inform the seller that you do not want to keep the shoes until midnight on October 15th. The date on which you properly made the cancellation applies to the cancellation declaration.
Who Pays the Shipping Cost?
In the event of a cancellation, the seller must also reimburse the cost of delivery to your home. However, if you keep an item from the order and only return one of several items to the seller, you must cover the shipping costs for delivery of the goods.
3 Month Warranty Safelight Policy
Safelight offers a 3-month warranty on all cameras from the original date of purchase or receipt (for online orders). Should the camera experience any malfunction during this period, Safelight provides the option to either:
- Refund the full purchase price of the camera, or
- Replace the camera with a similar model.
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must return the camera to Safelight for inspection. Upon confirmation that the malfunction is due to a defect in the camera and not caused by external factors, Safelight will process either a refund or a replacement, based on the customer’s preference.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from user error, accidents, or misuse, including but not limited to drops, exposure to water, or other physical damage.
Extended Warranty Case by Case Basis
In the event of malfunction outside of the 3 month warranty period up until 12 months, there is a possibility of a 10% discount on the next camera purchase.
Special considerations to be taken in to account:

Please be aware that we do not supply the return label unless the item is faulty or from an obvious mistake on our side.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@safelightberlin.com.
International Orders
We ship internationally but we are not liable for any import taxes, duties or customs charges incurred by the buyer. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer and in the unfortunate event of an international order being returned to us, we cannot refund customs charges, or import duties/taxes.
Gift Cards
Validity
Your Safelight gift card is valid for a period of 24 months from the date of activation, after which any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use.
Lost/ Stolen/ Damaged
In cases where your Safelight gift card is lost or stolen, Safelight is unable to replace or reimburse the remaining balance on a card. Safelight cannot be held responsible for the any balance lost on a Safelight gift card as a result of theft or fraud.
