The SAFELIGHT “Smile” Camera takes used disposable cameras and gives them a second chance. Each one is collected, rebuilt, and reloaded by hand in our Berlin lab using repurposed Kodak disposables and materials recovered from our own workflow wherever possible.

What started as a way to reduce waste inside the lab became something bigger: a small circular system built around keeping film cameras in use instead of throwing them away.

Because “disposable” was always a bit of a lie.

Loaded with our signature SAFELIGHT 500T film, this camera delivers cinematic cool tones, beautiful night shots, and that unmistakable film feeling. Perfect for parties, travel, weddings, late nights, and everyday moments worth remembering.
