Zinnnacht at Safelight Berlin

A night for zines, printed matter, ideas and the people behind them.

On September 3rd, Zinnnacht is coming to Safelight Berlin for an open gathering around one of our favourite things: stuff that has actually been printed.

Zinnnacht is a moment to exchange thoughts, feelings, emotions and ideas through printed matter. Bring your zines, magazines, photographs, printed objects, books, flyers, memorabilia — basically anything you've made, found or collected that means something to you.

There is no strict programme and no need to be a professional publisher or artist. You can bring something and tell people about it, share what it means to you, swap things, discover something completely new, or simply come along, listen and meet people.

For us at Safelight, this feels pretty natural. Photography and printed matter have always belonged together. A photograph doesn't have to live forever on a screen — it can become a zine, a small book, a photocopy, a print passed between friends, or something that ends up in somebody else's collection.

So bring something you're excited about. Or don't bring anything at all.

Come browse, talk, exchange, discover and hang out.
