About the artist:

Jeymee A. Sison, 11

Jeymee is eleven years old and has six siblings. She is Joe's older sister. Together they look after the family or play with their friends. Her favorite time of day is three o'clock in the afternoon, when her friends come home from school and they can play together. Rhojan is her best friend. The two are always out and about together. In her free time, Jeymee loves to play when she's not looking after her little sister. She took photos of the church and school because she finds big buildings impressive. Her dream is to become an actress because she can sing well. Our field worker Ate Olive met Jeymee on the street. After long discussions, we decided to include her in our projects despite her advanced age. A child without family support is at risk of quickly slipping into life on the streets with no prospects. This way, however, Jeymee will be given the opportunity that every child deserves and receive a proper education.
