The Canon AE-1 is a 35 mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera for use with interchangeable lenses. It was manufactured by Canon Camera K. K. (today Canon Incorporated) in Japan from April 1976 to 1984. The AE-1 is a historically significant SLR, both because it was the first microprocessor-equipped SLR and because of its sales. Backed by a major advertising campaign, the AE-1 sold over one million units, which made it an unprecedented success in the SLR market.

What’s included?

The camera with the Canon FD S.S.C. 50mm f 1.4 lens, cap and strap

Condition: B

Cosmetic: Good condition, with signs of use. The battery door as a missing piece but with the finger grip it does not affect the correct functions

Optical: Viewfinder clean. Lens clean with no haze/fungus/scratches.

Mechanical: All shutter speeds are accurate and all mechanical functions are working perfectly.
