VOIGTLÄNDER BESSA R4A w/40 1.4

The Cosina made Voigtländer Bessa-R is an important event in the history of 35mm Rangefinder cameras. Ever since its introduction in 1954, the Leica M series has been the undisputed champion of the great Rangefinder/Viewfinder. Incredibly, the M's ticket in the first seat was challenged in March 2000 by the Cosina made Voigtlander Bessa R, made in Japan. That's right boys and girls, the little Voigtlander Bessa R has a brighter finder than the Leica M3 or M2, believe it or not. 

The R4A is an electronic shutter camera which offers metered manual or aperture priority exposure. Like most other electronic shutter cameras, dead batteries mean a dead camera. The metering display is like the R3A.  The R4A is available only in matt black finish.
